DNA – Daily News & Analysis (English)
Launched on July 30, 2005 in Mumbai, DNA has already carved its niche in India’s financial capital as the second largest read English daily. With Five editions from Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur, DNA is India’s fastest growing English newspaper. Through news, views, analyses and interactivity, it provides readers with a composite picture of India and the world. Its interactive platforms seek to bring the reader and surfer at the centre of its news activity.
Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi)
The family flagship newspaper Dainik Bhaskar is No.1 in every state where it is present, with a daily circulation of 2.3 million. After securing, leadership position in the state of Madhya Pradesh in 1992, Rajasthan became the focus. A Jaipur edition was launched in December 1996, followed by six other editions which established it in no.1 position in the state. The Jaipur launch of Dainik Bhaskar has become a "case study" in the leading business schools of India.
After achieving leadership position in Rajasthan, the group decided to enter the Chandigarh market and launched its edition in June 2000. The challenge in Chandigarh was unique. It was the only city in India where English had more readership than vernacular dailies. Dainik Bhaskar changed this pattern and is now the largest read newspaper in Chandigarh. After the success in Chandigarh, the group launched its edition in the state of Haryana to empower the north and provide people with their "own newspaper".
